Share Your Secrets for Success!

Good Afternoon Team!

We are excited to be expanding our pool of fantastic writers. QG is currently accepting applications for the freelance writer position. To welcome our new writers, I just wanted to remind everyone of the resources that are available on our site and the Writer Panel. The Style Guide and SEO Writing for Dummies that everyone should read before signing is always available for review, as is all of our paperwork that is required when apply to QG. But check out some of the other pages that are available on the QG for writers to reference:

Training Posts– Various posts with tips and tricks for writing SEO style and finding quality links

New Writer Check List
– for the application process

Meeting Deadlines
– Deadlines are VERY important, not only for our writers, but for our editing staff, and QG; the office staff, Walt and myself, are on a tight deadline too, we have a responsibility to get articles to our clients in a timely manner.

These are only a few of the pages on the QG site. There are a number of resources in the QG writer panel that are meant to help writers throughout the writing process.

I was recently passed along this little test, take a look and test your grammar skills. Please feel free to jump in with any tips or advice to fellow writers. I would love to spread the word if someone has a great resource for links or advice on how to streamline the writing process, which I understand may take some time. I think we all have a common goal, no matter your writing style, or interests; we are all looking to become better writers. And we all know that the only way to improve is to network and practice.

So lets hear it!

  • What are some of your favorite secrets for success?
  • Are there any resources that you think would be beneficial to writers that are not yet available in the Writer Panel?

Thank you in advance everyone for your input,

QG

  1. Hello!
I just wanted to thank you for giving me the opportunity to join the QualityGal writing team. I love the blog here, what a great way to communicate.

Right now my biggest tip, and what I am working on myself, is setting a work schedule. When you work from home, and love what you do, it’s very easy to spend all your time at the computer. I need to manage my time so that I get enough work done, but don’t leave my family feeling neglected. If my family is happy, then I am happy, and I do better work!

Welcome Janis! We’re very happy to have you with us and for your input. Time management is definitely something I need to work on, too. There have been too many times something fell through the crack is forgot about because I was busy playing Super Woman. I have found that I work best when I have a physical check list, I get a sense of accomplishment when I can check something off, no matter how small it might be. When I’m feeling a bit unproductive, I’ve even been known to write something down just to cross it off, lol!
