Article Extension Request Process

Article Extension Request Process

Hey QG writers. Since we do occasionally get requests for article extensions we wanted to give you some information on how to get an extension if needed.  If you need an extension, please send an email no later than 1 o’clock on the day the article is due. If we are able to give an extension we will do so and 1 o’clock leaves enough time for us to give the extension without the article dropping. If you email for an extension and do not receive a response within 30 minutes, please send your extension request to [email protected]. *Remember we cannot always give extensions but will do so when possible.*

Fridays – if you are looking for an article extension on a Friday after 12pm, please email [email protected].

*Remember the sooner you ask for the extension the more likely you are to receive it; especially on holidays and weekends*

We are trying something new. Starting immediately we are not going to assign articles to be due on weekends. You can still submit your article on Saturday or Sunday if finished but we will not be giving due dates on the weekends. We are hoping this will cut down on articles dropping.

Please let us know if you have any questions or comments. We look forward to hearing from you!

Anytime Cheryl! We are here for you, just email us.

No weekend deadlines will help, with the entire family underfoot, weekends sometimes get crazy here! So far – I’ve not needed an extension, but it is nice to know how the request process works in case ‘life happens’! Thanks!

I’m probably one of the few that send in for extensions on a regular basis, mainly because of my conflicting schedule. I just want to chime in and extend (no pun intended) my gratitude to the QualityGal staff for granting extensions whenever possible without any hassle. Christine, Katie, Mindy, and Heather do a fine job and thoroughly respect their writers.

    Thank you.
